On the deck of the Plantagenet, Collier "discovered a considerable number of slaves a part of which he well knew to be the property of John Cooper dec'd" including the following:
-Bray, man aged approximately 30 years, valued $450 or greater
-Jack, man aged approximately 25 years, a fiddler, worth $450
-Milly, woman aged approximately 30 years, valued at $300
-Hannah, woman aged approximately 22 years, valued at $300

On a nearby British Brig, Collier discovered "several slaves, many which he distinctly & positively recognized" including:
-Pompey, man aged approximately 50 years, valued at $300
-Bety, woman aged approximately 40 years, valued at $300

According to the deposition, Collier "was intimately acquainted with & frequently at the House of said John Cooper dec'd & well knew his slaves unless indeed such as were too young to be engaged in useful service and is certain that all said slaves named in this deposition were the property of said John Cooper dec'd that said Anna Cooper is executrix of said John Cooper dec'd".
