Description/Scope & Content Letter of November 7, 1954 from Phillip W. Booker to Lucien H. von Schilling, describing Booker's search for a 1900 photograph of Company "D" Virginia Regiment after the company had participated in the 1900 Norfolk streetcar strike. Booker thought the photo "just happened to be the first picture taken of me in uniform and the uniform wasn't too neat looking either". The last time Booker saw the photo was "at my Aunt India Wray's home on Mallory Avenue." Booker notes that "D Company led the regiment in driving the strikers from [ ] car barns...."
