Description/Scope & Content Multiple plats and documents regarding property of Symm's Free School, located on present-day Langley Air Force Base, and the Eaton Charity School, located in the Aberdeen district. Dated 1948-1976.

-Plat, labeled "Benj. Symm's School Land. Surveyors Rec #1-5 Notes Supposed to be Made by Thos-L-Nickolson in Dec-1805." Located on the present-day Langley Air Force Base including Tabb's Point as well as portions of the Back River and Tabb's Creek. Small structure on the property is labeled "School." Platted by Girard Chambers. Dated October 1948.

-Plat, labeled "School Land Survey Plat-1805." Located on present-day Langley Air Force Base including Back River, Tabbs Creek, and "Marsh Land." Plat also mentions Vaughan Cemetery and a school house. Note in lower right corner indicates the plat was created by Kenneth Quinn of NASA's Archeology Society. Undated.

-Plat, labeled "Plat of Eatons School Land 1805 Survey Book 1 page 4." Note in upper right corner reads, "Roads as of 1955." Plat encompasses area in the Aberdeen, Coliseum, and Downtown districts and includes Queen Street, Pine Chapel Road, Salters Creek Road, and Scones Dam Road (currently Power Plant Parkway). Plat includes a Legend on the right side marking the location of the "Wynne Site (Locust Hill)," "Bridge," "Cemetery," "Mill Dam," and the "1880 School House." Also includes New Market Creek. Plat was created by NASA employee Kenneth Quinn. Dated January 5, 1976.

-Letter to Girard Chambers from Mrs. Sandidge "Sis" Evans regarding the Eaton School Land, located in the Aberdeen district near "where today's Salters Creek Road comes into W. Queen," and Kenneth Quinn's survey of the area. Dated January 8, 1971.

-Document, consisting of three pages, titled "Ross Property" regarding land "of nominally 50 acres" owned by the Ross family. The letter describes the land, located on the present-day Langley Air Force Base near the Symms Free School property, and the divisions and respective property owners over time. Unsigned, undated.

-Document, titled "Symm's School Land." Document describes coordinate information of the property located on the present-day Langley Air Force Base and outlines property division lines. Lower right corner reads, "Mrs. Sandidge Evans" and gives her information. Created by C. Hubbard. Undated.

-Chart, labeled "Trial Chart of the Ross Family," who owned property near the Symm's Free School land. Includes genealogical information and dates of birth of family members. Unsigned, undated.

-Handwritten notes, two pages, including coordinate information. Unsigned, likely completed by Girard Chambers. Undated.
