Description/Scope & Content DVD-ROM containing digitized silent footage, filmed by Frank Benson, of 1933 Hurricane damage, flooding, and other effects. Film is divided into two segments: "'Along the Boulevard' Scenes from the Storm of Aug. 23, 1933" showing flooding, damage to trolley tracks, and other effects during the storm along Chesapeake Boulevard, (probably block between Manteo Ave. and Hampton Roads Ave., including homes at house numbers 3005, 3009, and 3011); and "'Buckroe' After the Storm", showing aftermath of damage to Buckroe area structures, including Bay Shore Hotel and nearby cottages (perhaps including Buckroe Beach Hotel and/or Bath House).
