|Description/Scope & Content||Letter on lined yellow paper and dated June 18, 1985, from Jerry Sandford to Dr. Musselman describing contents and significance of Alice Moore Collection, including having saved the collection during her tenure as Principal of Langley View School. Sandford describes Langley View students' partnership with Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind (with assistance of school nurse Marian Craig) and study of Helen Keller's life, and portrayal of it in a 1956 play that closely paralleled the later Broadway production, _The Miracle Worker_. The letter also describes the report of the school production in an issue of _Instructor Magazine_. Sandford closes the letter: "I've conveyed the above to you from Alice as best I can."|
